Oslo Runway Marks 10th Anniversary with Expanded 2025 Lineup

Oslo, Norway – In August 2025, Oslo Runway will celebrate a decade of championing Norwegian fashion talent with its most expansive edition to date. Running August 25–30, the 10th anniversary event will showcase nearly 60 designers, artists, and brands, blending past milestones with forward-looking design innovation.

The anniversary edition, known as ORW25, promises a vibrant schedule of runway shows, exhibitions, and cultural happenings across the city — solidifying the event’s role as a major creative force in Scandinavia’s fashion calendar.


Highlights of ORW25

  • Opening Ceremony on the Oslofjord
    In collaboration with Josephine Studio, ORW25 will launch on the scenic waters of the Oslofjord.
  • Celebrating Knitting Heritage
    Iconic Norwegian brand Dale of Norway will shine a spotlight on the country’s renowned knitting tradition.
  • Returning Brands
    Fan favorites like Envelope1976, Livid, Pearl Octopuss.y, Pia Tjelta, Woodling, Christian Aks, ESP, and Julie Josephine will return with fresh collections.
  • Newcomer Debuts
    Exciting debuts from Blæst, Sixthgear, Camilla Pihl, Ella & Il, and Hartlino add to the diversity of the lineup.

Special Projects & Cultural Collaborations

  • Fashion Archives Tour
    The International Library of Fashion Research will host a special tour exploring Norwegian printed fashion history.
  • Department Store Takeover
    Oslo’s Steen & Strøm will host a curated pop-up with brands including ESP, Tarinii, Bastante Textile, Gobmi, and Cala Jade.

Awards & Emerging Talent

  • New Talent Award
    In a partnership with Steen & Strøm, top graduates from Esmod, KHiO, and OsloMet will be showcased, with a winner announced at the anniversary dinner at the Munch Museum.
  • Oslo Runway Tribute Award
    The coveted national award returns, recognizing standout designers or brands. Past winners include Livid, Tom Wood, Envelope1976, and Norwegian Rain. The winner receives a 50,000 NOK prize sponsored by Innovation Norway.
  • Next Support Programme
    Two emerging brands, Cohmé Atelier and Wilhelmina, will receive mentorship, funding, and exposure to host their own shows under Oslo Runway’s Next initiative.
